Introducing the first FDA conditionally approved once-weekly drug for the management of ventricular hypertrophy in cats with subclinical hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM).
This first-in-class drug is now available to manage progressive left ventricular (LV) hypertrophy in cats with subclinical HCM.
Now you have a reason to screen to intervene and manage subclinical HCM in your feline patients. We will outline the pathophysiology of HCM and review the indications for Felycin®-CA1.
This event is FREE for NJVMA members; there is a $35 fee for non-members.

Join NJVMA and Drs. John Lewis and Carlos Rice at the Silo Academy Education Center for a two-day immersive canine and feline dental course involving lectures and hands-on wet labs.
Only 16 seats are available!
Approved for 14 hours of RACE-approved CE credits for attending the two-day event.
This comprehensive course will combine ample hands-on laboratory time and lecture for veterinarians, teaching important techniques in surgical extraction of firmly rooted teeth, with a focus on flap extractions of maxillary and mandibular canine teeth, maxillary fourth premolar teeth and mandibular first molar teeth. Also, oral surgery nerve blocks will be taught in laboratory.
INSTRUCTORS:
John Lewis, VMD, DAVDC, FF-OMFS
Dr. John Lewis obtained his BS from Bucknell University in 1993 and his VMD from the University of Pennsylvania in 1997. After veterinary school, he spent 5 years in general practice prior to returning for a residency in dentistry and oral surgery. Dr. Lewis became a fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry (AVD) in 2004 and a diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC) in 2005. At the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Lewis served as Associate Professor of Dentistry and Oral Surgery, Residency Director of Dentistry and Oral Surgery, Associate Director of Mari Lowe Center for Comparative Oncology, and Chief of Surgery at Ryan Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Lewis is a Past President of the American Veterinary Dental Society. Dr. Lewis is currently working full-time at Veterinary Dentistry Specialists in Chadds Ford, PA.
